One of Milton’s older neighbourhoods in the northeast urban core, Timberlea saw most of its development in the late 1970s and early 1980s. The majority of these homes are large, Neo-Colonial builds with two-car garages and wide lots, although there are also some smaller semi-detached and condominium townhomes in the area. With six parks and four schools in the neighbourhood, Timberlea is perfect for families. This area is also popular with commuters, as the 401 is only a couple minutes north. Milton Mall is located near TImberlea, a great place to shop and eat with around 50 stores and a food court. If you can’t find anything to eat there, downtown Main Street has a variety of great restaurant and take-out spots.
